Australia — A more inclusive history

ISBN: 978-0-6452623-4-6

I write this new more inclusive history of Australia because it fills a gap in what we have not included and still continue to omit in Australia’s history.

There are many aspects of Australian multiculturalism that are not included in general Australian history books. Aspects such as Aboriginal history, peoples, language, arts, heroes and leaders, outlaws were all missing and needed to be included.

Further, it has been my great pleasure to meet many diverse Australians and learn that their histories have been minimised or omitted from general Australian histories and confined only to specific stories of individual communities. I hope to bring these stories to you now, hoping to provide a new more inclusive history of Australia.

“An inclusive journey from the beginning of Australian history, all the way through the aeons to the modern era from a multitude of different perspectives. It’s a comprehensive discussion of all matters relating to the continent and the country of Australia, from geography and botany to the people who have populated or influenced it and everything in between. It is also written with a sensitivity and openness that is likely to be appreciated by the many minorities who have not had their voice heard in the past.”
— Tim Collins (multi-disciplinary designer/psychologist)

“An accessible, concise history that shines a light on oft-overlooked corners of our past.”
— Christopher J. Taylor, Teacher, Victoria
