Alistair Smith reports back on the launch of his amusing travel book Been There, Done That:
“The launch went very well, and my presentation was well received. Lots of laughter all round as we made it an afternoon of fun rather than a traditional book launch, with some door prizes, a trivia session and other competitions as well as my talk about my life as a travel writer.
It was held at Bayswater Bowls Club where I am a life member, and I don’t know how these numbers stack up in the normal course of things but we had more than 60 people there and I sold more than 40 books.
Very happy with the outcome.”
