Eligible books are books:

• with an International Standard Book Number (ISBN)

• which have been published and offered for sale within five years from the year of publication

• which have a catalogue record in a national bibliographic database, eg SCIS or Australian National Bibliographic Database

• whose creators are individuals (companies or organisations are not eligible creators)

• with no more than five eligible creators.

Note: “Book” includes ebook and audiobook formats

Authors, Don't Forget Libraries

Independent authors sometimes forget the library market. Libraries have made a largely successful transition to the era of the Internet, becoming multi-use spaces, offering ebooks and audio books and maintaining their print collections. Many libraries are quite supportive of independent authors. Joanne Penn has posted about getting books into American libraries, but similar principles also apply in Australia.
